Holiday Season, we'll be collecting non-perishable food items to support the Ballard Food Bank! Starting 11/21 we'll be accepting donations! Look for the donation bin right as you enter the door. You can bring in different items or donate $ to this great organization!
But wait, there's more! For every item that you donate, your Coaches will have to perform CrossFit movements! When you bring in a can of tuna or green beans, you'll also be forcing Coach Carlos (and all the other coaches) to perform Burpees & Thrusters!! Sounds awesome, right?
Here is the list of items and their corresponding movement: Canned Protein = Thruster Canned Vegetable = Burpee Canned Fruit = Pull-Up Shelf-Stable Condiments = Sit-Up Other non-perishables = Dubs Likewise, for every item we the Coaches donate, the members have to do movements in a WOD of our choosing, too! Knowing what we do about quality food, we're placing a higher emphasis on Proteins, Vegetables & Fruits. But, any non-perishable food is welcome and encouraged!
We will be accepting donations until Friday, December 16th. That night, we'll host the WOD event at 6pm. You'll get to watch your Coaches suffer through as much misery as you can donate!
