What should you expect from our group classes?
Whether you are just out of our Beginning CrossFit Series, a drop in from out of town, or new to our gym with prior CrossFit experience, you should expect to have a great time in our classes while working alongside many athletes with a wide range of skills and abilities.
Once the previous class is finished and the Coach calls you out onto the main floor, you may begin gathering equipment needed for the WOD (Workout of the Day). Claim some real estate as your own, set up your gear, collect a few high 5's, and begin any stretching and mobilizing you require.
Your Coach will call the class up to the whiteboard, go over the workout and demonstrate the movements, talk you through strategy and safety, and get you started on a workout specific warm-up. Mobility will be done together after all athletes complete the warm-up. Then it's 3,2,1...GO!
OUR WEEKLY FLOW:
Typically, our workout programming calls for longer, more cardio based WOD's on Mondays and Fridays, with our strength + WOD days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We incorporate skill work in our classes on Mondays and Thursdays. Saturdays you can expect a good, long grinder and Sundays are typically pretty barbell intensive.
